Every year, our fellows participate in many conferences paid for by the department. All fellows attend the annual PEM Assembly. Second- and third-year fellows attend either AAP or ACEP. First year fellows attend BASE Camp, a fully immersive simulation boot camp in NYC. The department also hosts various local conferences including PEM Assembly and Tox Teaching Day that fellows will attend and present at during their final year. Fellows will also have the opportunity to attend and present at the monthly National PEM Consultants Conference.

Within our off-site offices at EMStat (550 E. Genessee St), there is a fellows’ office with computers, copiers, and printers for free use.

EMStat is also home to a simulation center with capabilities for high-fidelity scenario simulations and task training.

At the hospital, there is a code-secured office for PEM attendings and fellows with computers and lockers near the PED.
